Impact on pupils participation and attainment in PE and sport:
- Increased participation in School Games events, giving more children opportunities to represent the school.
- Participation has been tracked to identify and target less active and under-represented groups.
- A wider range of pupils have developed confidence, teamwork and enjoyment of physical activity through competitive sport.

Swimming and water safety
In line with the national curriculum requirements for swimming and water safety, the data for the current cohort of year 6 pupils is shown below:
- Swim competently, confidently and proficiently over a distance of 25 metres: 73%
- Able to use a range of strokes effectively: 77%
- Able to perform safe self-rescue: 80%
