We provide a well-equipped and stimulating environment designed to support early learning through play. Our facilities are carefully planned to encourage creativity, exploration, and social development.

We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum engaging in a mix of structured activities and free play, designed to develop skills across the seven areas of learning.

Daily sessions include:

  • Small key worker group sessions
  • Whole-class activities
  • Adult-led focus tasks
  • Child-initiated play, both indoors and outdoors
  • A focused phonics session to build early language and listening skills
  • Snack time with milk (or water) and fruit

Our nursery embraces outdoor learning in all seasons, with dedicated spaces for exploration and play. We provide waterproof clothing and aprons to support messy play, encouraging children to engage fully in hands-on learning experiences.

Prime and specific areas of learning and development

Our early years foundation stage (EYFS) curriculum covers seven important areas: three prime areas (communication and language, physical development, and personal, social and emotional development) and four specific areas (literacy, mathematics, understanding the world, and expressive arts and design).

Our half termly topics are a great way for children to grasp different concepts through playing, sharing, talking, doing and experimenting – there’s something to capture the imaginations and curiosities of everyone.
