Could you be our next parent academy committee governor?
Thrumpton Primary Academy shares a governing body with Bracken Lane Primary Academy and is looking for parent governors to join the local academy committee.
Being a parent governor is a great opportunity to help shape the future of the academy and support the wider school community. You do not need to have experience in education, just an interest in the academy, its future and the wellbeing of its pupils.
Governors provide strategic oversight and support and challenge academy leaders on areas such as standards, SEND, safeguarding and engagement with stakeholders. They do not get involved in the day-to-day running of the academy.
