It has been very busy here at Thrumpton Primary Academy on the lead up to Christmas with fun and festive activities filling up the calendar.
The month began with our jingle jog at Sherwood Pines, where the children faced a very wet and muddy day. But they carried on and all of them managed to finish the course with smiles on their faces.
We also had the early years and key stage one Christmas performances. The children did a wonderful job singing their hearts out and they looked amazing in their costumes.
We had the very first key stage 2 Christingle service at The Grove. We thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon, and it was great to see such an outpour of community spirit with so many family members joining the Christingle.
All of the Christmas activities have been thoroughly enjoyed by the children, but festive Fridays has to be the winner as everyone loved coming to school in their Christmas Jumpers.
